"The saddles have fully replaced our porcelain insulators. They are light weight and won’t produce sharp edges when broken that can injure crews. They don’t break into a lot of pieces that never get cleaned up from the manhole floor when dropped.  We have also had issues with flashing where the porcelain has sharp edges on the surface AS RECEIVED. Not happy about that at all. The porcelain is also not made in the USA like the saddles and cable hooks are. Crews really love the feature where the saddles click into the racking and stay put!"
